876 DNA TEST Refund Policy
At 876 DNA Test, we are committed to providing accurate and reliable testing services. Please review our refund policy below to understand your options:
Buccal Swabs Collection:
Once buccal swab samples have been collected, no refunds will be issued. The client is only eligible for Store Credit at this time (up to 50% of the test cost). The collection initiates the testing process, incurring non-refundable costs. This applies to all tests done locally and internationally.
Refunds for International Tests:
Once a DNA sample (buccal swab) has been collected in any country, the customer is no longer eligible for a refund. However, a partial amount (up to 50% of the test cost), can be issued as store credit, which may be applied towards another DNA test offered by 876 DNA TEST. Store credit is non-transferable and must be used within 6 months of the original purchase date.
Lab Policy
- Once a DNA test has been received by the laboratory, no refunds will be issued.
- Additionally, refunds will not be provided based on test results, including outcomes that may be unexpected or unfavorable to the customer.
- All sales are final once Lab processing has begun.
- A new test is required once a DNA report is issued to the client, even if the results are inconclusive. At this point, 876 DNA TEST has incurred lab processing fees that are non-refundable.
Refunds for Home Kits:
- Refunds will not be given for Home kits that are already dispatched to the customer.
- 876 DNA Test will have already incurred non-refundable shipping and transaction costs to get the home kits to the Client.
- Refunds will only be given on home kits, 'before' kits are dispatched. Full refunds will be awarded for kits paid for in cash.
- DNA Kits paid for via bank transfers and credit and debit card will attract penalties on the bank/payment processing fees.
Payment Plan Refunds:
- Clients utilizing the payment plan may be eligible for a refund only after the first payment.
- Once the second payment is made the DNA test becomes non-Refundable.
- Refund requests must be made before the buccal swab collection. Any administrative fees or partial costs incurred up to the point of the refund will be deducted.
Mobile Testing Services:
- Refunds for mobile testing services are only available if cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the technician is scheduled to arrive.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment are non-refundable, as preparation and scheduling costs will have already been incurred.
Cancellation Policy:
- Appointments canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled collection may be eligible for a full or partial refund, depending on the circumstances.
- Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment may incur administrative fees.
